Counseling Psychology Doctoral Student

Darlene Campos is a first-year student in the Counseling Psychology PhD program in the College of Education at Lehigh University. As she was pursuing her B.A. in Psychology at Clark University, she served as a coordinator and facilitator for the Latina Achievers in Search of Success (LASOS) youth program at the Latino Education Institute at Worcester State University. Her research interests broadly focus on ethnic-racial socialization/identity development, youth program intervention, and investigating how cultural values serve as protective or risk factors. Darlene is also passionate about mentorship and mentors 1-2 students each year looking to apply to graduate school. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, trying out local coffee shops, and going to concerts.
