Vanesa Mora Ringle, Ph.D.

Dr. Vanesa A. Mora Ringle is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education and Human Services at Lehigh University. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Miami, a clinical internship at Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. Prior to that, she earned her BA in Psychology, summa cum laude, at Temple University.
Dr. Mora Ringle is a child clinical psychologist by training, and her research crosses the disciplines of clinical science, mental health services, public health, and community and counseling psychology. Through her research, Dr. Mora Ringle aims to advance equity by increasing access to scientific evidence and effective mental health services with the ultimate goal of promoting healing and thriving.
As a formerly undocumented, Latin American immigrant and first-generation college student, Dr. Mora Ringle is particularly committed to research and professional work that serves Latin and other underrepresented communities. Part of this commitment involves supporting the advancement of students and others who are underrepresented in academia.
